We are the Pulinga family: myself, Roberto Pulinga, my wife Vânia Pulinga, and our two children. We met when we were young and since then our only goal was to seek a better life, as we came from humble families. Twenty-four years ago, a strength was born within us that we never imagined we had. In 1999, we began to plan our personal goals and that’s when the need to start a business arose.
That year, my late father had opened a grocery store and gave me the opportunity to work with him. It was in the grocery store that we saw our future. We sought new ideas to implement in the market, made numerous attempts until we discovered what we did best: providing excellent customer service, seeking to bring satisfaction to everyone. We began offering a bar in addition to the grocery store, and continued to innovate, perfect and study. Thus, we became market leaders in our hometown, Teresópolis RJ.
We set up a food truck trailer, which was not commonly seen at the time, and went in search of customers, becoming known and recognized for the quality of our service and everything we served. We moved to the city of Cabo Frio RJ, where we began our biggest challenge: to win over and convince people who had never heard of us. In six years of hard work, we became market leaders and owners of the largest restaurant in the city, with a capacity to serve 350 people and managing a team of over 40 people. We formed numerous partnerships, sought to innovate constantly, and, above all, to be better every day in terms of entrepreneurship.
In 2018, we came to the United States to visit, go to Disney and experience new things, and of course, seek innovation to bring new ideas and experiences to our customers. That’s when I saw a great opportunity to start a business here, as I had already had other experiences, such as the special paintwork that is our focus today. I realized that there was no one offering the type of work I do here, offering a line of paint that compares to granite, with savings of up to 80% in cost, while also adding value to your space, whether it be your home, office or store, just like granite does, bringing grandeur, elegance, and glamour.
